Hi,
I have been talking to Phil Holmes about the future of the local repeaters, and we would welcome the views of the Keighley radio club. The key points are: The current NOV’s expire for TP this year, and XL in 2026. All the equipment is very old now and getting unreliable. Phil will be retiring from the Council this year, so we will probably lose the sites at Wrose & Nab Wood. Given the lack of use, our view currently is that it’s time to shut down the operation, but what do you guys think? I’ll give you a ring to discuss this further if you let me know when is convenient.
